Callie Sioux is a creative alchemist using multimedia to distill the adventures of reality into the art of fiction and entertainment. As a musician she is an award winning songwriter, rock ‘n’ roller, and bass player having performed with Gleewood, Jhett Black and The Cle Elum. Growing up as a ranch kid from New Mexico her stories, songs, films, and audio dramas capture wide open spaces, grit and the importance of persistence. 1232, her audio epic, has stepped out as a behemoth project launching her into the audio drama world, and her recent signing with Twenty Hills Publishing will see her speculative fiction coming to a bookstore near you.
Callie Sioux lives with her husband, Jhett Black, and springer spaniel, Clancy, in Chattanooga, Tennessee where she can be seen hiking, writing in a local coffee shop, serving you a pint of ale at their music venue and listening room(The Woodshop), or performing in one of the many venues in town.
Callie Sioux has had multiple speaking engagements talking about not just the worlds she creates and the history she tells, but also encouraging other creatives in the next generation in their endeavors.
She hosts the “Never Drop Your Sword” podcast for the creatively courageous and is often featured on other podcasting channels talking about the state of creativity and the Christian faith.
